Privacy Policy

Last updated September 2026

This policy covers the pre-order page for Decoding Perimenopause: The 90-Day Symptom & Cycle Tracker, published by The Hearty Soul (“we”). It is written to be read, not to be impressive. If anything here is unclear, email support@theheartysoul.com and ask.

What we collect

  • Your email address, which you give us at checkout.
  • A record of your $1 reservation — the amount, the date, and Stripe’s reference for the transaction.

That is the entire list. We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, or date of birth, and we never ask about your health. Nothing you write in the tracker itself reaches us — it is paper, and it stays with you.

What we never see

Your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe’s own checkout page. Your card number never touches our servers and we could not retrieve it if we tried.

Why we collect it

  • To send you the printables you just paid for.
  • To email you once, on the day the paperback goes live on Amazon.
  • To answer you if you write to us, and to process refunds.

We do not sell your email address, rent it, or share it with advertisers. We do not add you to an unrelated newsletter because you bought a journal.

Who else handles your data

Three processors, each doing one job, each bound by their own privacy terms:

  • Stripe — payment processing and transaction records.
  • Resend — sending the delivery email and the launch notification.
  • Supabase — storing the reservation record (email, transaction reference, date).

How long we keep it

We keep your reservation record until the paperback launches and the launch email has gone out, then for a further twelve months in case you contact us about your order. After that it is deleted. Stripe retains its own transaction records for longer, as payment regulations require.

Your choices

Email support@theheartysoul.com and we will, within 30 days: tell you exactly what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Deleting your record means we cannot email you at launch — that is the only consequence. You do not need to give a reason, and asking costs you nothing.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. We apply the process above to everyone regardless of location, because keeping two standards would be worse for everybody.

Cookies and tracking

This page sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout page that are necessary to process your payment and prevent fraud. If we later add analytics, this section will change before it does.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting people who have already reserved will be emailed.
